Adopt AAdopt a Dog Adopt a Cat Adopt a Rabbit Adopt a Small Animal
How To Adopt

We are open Friday through Tuesday from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm. The shelter is closed Wednesdays and Thursdays. Adoptions stop one hour before closing.

After you have found the perfect companion, fill out an adoption application and ask a staff member to review it with you. The cat application, dog application, and rabbit/small animal application can be filled out and brought to the shelter in order to save you time during the adoption process, or you can complete an application at the shelter. In order to proceed, all family members must meet the pet and landlord approval is required for anyone who rents. You may put the animal on hold until these requirements have been met.

When adopting a dog we require that your dogs meet the dog you are interested in adopting. You can put a hold on the one you are considering and schedule a time for your family and dogs to meet him/her.

Note: If you are having difficulty downloading or viewing PDF files, you may need to download the current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. Download it free here.
