A list of dog parks in the Eugene/Springfield area
When visiting a dog park, the dog owner is responsible and liable for the actions and behaviors of their dog(s) at all times. Please remember to follow the dog park rules listed below:
- Have dog(s) properly licensed.
- Have dog(s) properly vaccinated (rabies).
- Remove dog(s) feces from designated area.
- Keep dog(s) in designated area.
- Have dog(s) on leash when entering and leaving designated area.
- Be present with the dog(s) and have the dog(s) under voice control at all times.
- Remove female dog(s) in estrus (heat) from designated area when other dog(s) enter the area.
- Not allow dog(s) to fight, bite, or bark excessively.
- Dog(s) classified potentially dangerous must remain on a leash.
Alton Barker Park
Fully Fenced
Location: Behind Autzen Stadium
Provisions: Water (dogs/people), pick-up bags, garbage cans, shelter, benches/tables, many trees for shade and shelter, and walking trails.
Park Hours: 6 am to 11 pm Daily
Amazon Park
Fully Fenced, Large & Small dog areas
Location: 29th Ave & Amazon Parkway. Just south of the RTD park and ride station and near the skate board park. Parking is available at the park and ride.
Provisions: Water, pick-up bags, garbage cans, shelter, tables, and walking trails.
Park Hours: 6 am to 11 pm Daily
Armitage Park
Fully Fenced, Large & Small dog areas
Location: 90064 Coburd Rd. 56 acres on the banks of the McKenzie River. Parking fee: $5 per vehicle.
Provisions: Water, pick-up bags, garbage cans, shelter, tables, and walking trails.
Park Hours: Dawn until Dusk
Candlelight Park
Fully Fenced, Large & Small dog areas
Location: Royal & Candlelight Street
Provisions: Water, pick-up bags, garbage cans, and tables.
Park Hours: 6am to 11pm Daily
Morse Ranch Park
Fully Fenced
Location: Crest Drive and Lincoln Street. Parking is available in a lot just west of the fenced dog park on Crest Drive.
Provisions: Water, pick-up bags, garbage cans, shelters, tables and walking trails.
Park Hours: 6am to 11pm Daily
Willamalane Lively Dog Park
Fully Fenced, Large and Small dog areas
Location: 6100 Thurston Rd. Springfield. Drive past the Splash pool building. The dog park is across the parking lot from the playground.
Provisions: Water, pick-up bags, garbage cans, shelters, restrooms, tables and walking trails.
Park Hours: Dawn until Dusk
Washington Jefferson Dog Park
1.3 acre fully fenced dog park
Location: Between W 5th and 6th Ave
Provisions: Double entry gates, park benches, dog bag dispensers, garbage service
Park Hours: 6am to 11pm
Zoomwalt Park
Unfenced, not off-leash area
Location: End of Vista Dr. east of Ellmaker. Take 11th west out of town just past the reservoir. Take a right just before the Dari Mart on Ellmaker Rd. Go right on Vista Dr. which will dead end. Park at the dead end and then walk the path until you reach the park.
Provisions: Garbage cans, benches/tables, trees for shade, walking trails, and water for dogs in the reservoir.
