CANCELLED – Check the Chip Day at Greenhill 8/15

*UPDATE: Due to forecasted heat next week, our Check the Chip event has been cancelled. We would still like to stress the importance of microchipping your pet and making sure your pets chip information is updated.*

In honor of National Check the Chip Day, Greenhill Humane Society is hosting its own Check the Chip Event at the Greenhill shelter on Tuesday, August 15 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Pet families are encouraged to bring their dogs, cats or other animals who are already microchipped to Greenhill to get scanned. Participants will receive information about their pet’s microchip number, manufacturer, and contact information so they can ensure that all information is up to date.

Pet families that plan to stop by the shelter for Check the Chip day should have their animals safely secured with a leash or in a carrier.
